FELIX JULIANI ART GALLERY
The Felix Juliani Art Gallery, initially dedicated in 1985, was completely renovated in 2002 for the enjoyment and benefit of the entire community. A variety of exhibits are scheduled for the coming academic year, including local and regional artists, as well as faculty and student shows.
Mr. Felix Juliani began his service to MassBay in 1963 as a member of the Founding Advisory Committee of the College, and later when a Board of Trustees was appointed, served with distinction for five years as Chair. Mr. Juliani served the Board uninterrupted until 1986, when his term expired. He was then honored with the appointment of Chairman Emeritus in recognition of his outstanding commitment and contributions to the College.
In 1992, Governor Weld renewed Mr. Juliani’s appointment, allowing him to serve the College in full capacity once again. For his leadership and stewardship, and his untiring service to the College and its students, Mr. Juliani was presented the first Distinguished Service Award of MassBay Community College at Commencement in May 2002. Until his death in May 2006, Mr. Juliani served on the Board of Directors for the MassBay Foundation, Inc.
