HEAT ADVISORY

For those of you attending tonight’s ceremony, the forecast for today is calling for a high of 84 degrees with high humidity, and a chance of thunderstorms. We are expecting a very hot day!

Our Commencement tent is not air conditioned, so please prepare for a warm evening. Some suggestions:

• Hydrate before and during the event.
• Wear lightweight clothing, especially those of you who will be robing.
• Take breaks and step out of the tent if you need to.
• If you are feeling nauseous, weak, or that you might faint at any time during the day, these could be symptoms of heat exhaustion. Notify campus police immediately at 781-239-2699 (x2699).

We will have water under the tent. Just outside the tent will be an air conditioned van where people can cool off as well. The main building will also be open should you need to cool off.

TICKETS & INVITATIONS

Commencement invitations and tickets will be available for pick-up beginning Tuesday, April 23, in Student Development, Room 130 on the Wellesley campus. Each graduate will receive up to four Commencement tickets. Each guest, including children requiring their own seat, must present a ticket to be admitted to the Commencement Exercises.

CAPS & GOWNS

Caps and gowns will be available for pick-up beginning Tuesday, April 23, at the MassBay Bookstore on the Wellesley Hills campus. Students must first pick up their Cap and Gown Voucher from Student Development. For Bookstore hours, call (781) 239-2650, or visit www.massbayshop.com.

MassBay recognizes our student Veterans and active military at the Commencement ceremony.
