Student Employment

MassBay Community College offers part-time job opportunities to our students that enhance their academic experience with practical learning in a supportive setting. Students gain valuable skills, have flexible working hours, and perform work that may relate to a future career.

We also offer Federal Work-Study which is a federally funded, need-based program designed to promote greater access to employment on-campus and also off-campus with select community organizations. Students gain meaningful work experience while helping the college meet staffing needs.

We require students who are eligible to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to have one on file, before they are hired or continue employment.

All student employees must have a Social Security Number to work on campus. Students with an F-1 visa who have secured paid on campus employment may be eligible for a Social Security Number (SSN). To apply for a SSN, please contact Claudia Ortiz in Admissions at admissions@massbay.edu for further information.

Have any questions? Feel free to email us at studentemployment@massbay.edu.
