Billing and Payment Policy

You may view your bill by logging into Bay Navigator and selecting the Student Finances & Aid tile.  A bill will be mailed to your home address after you register for courses, so please ensure we have your correct address in Bay Navigator.

Before Paying Your Bill

If you plan to waive the health insurance fee you should do so at least 24 hours prior to paying your bill to allow the balance to be updated in Bay Navigator.

If a third party is paying your bill, we must receive documentation in writing from the third party prior to the due date. Documentation should be emailed to studentaccounts@massbay.edu. Payments from outside sources will not be reflected on your account until payment is received. Please take this into account when making payments or setting up a payment plan.

If you are receiving financial aid through the FAFSA, ensure that you have accepted any grants and/or loans through your Bay Navigator account via the Financial Aid Award tile.

Ways to Pay

Personal checks, money orders, and 529 payments should be made payable to MassBay Community College and mailed to:

MassBay Community College
P.O. Box 412831
Boston, MA 02241-2831

(include name and/or student ID # on check memo line)

Payments will be posted to students’ Bay Navigator accounts as they are received. Please allow enough time for mail delivery to arrive by the billing due date. Please email studentaccounts@massbay.edu if you are mailing a check close to the billing due date.

Checks, money orders, and cash payments in exact change may be brought in person to the Enrollment Centers on the Wellesley or Framingham campuses. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.

You can pay your bill online in the following ways:

  1. Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) — ACH payments are a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have preapproved for your expenses at MassBay Community College. Payments may be made from either a checking or savings account. You will need the bank name, telephone number, account number, and the bank routing number. Most of this information is located on your check.
  2. Credit/Debit Card Option — We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Credit card/debit card payments incur a 2.85% service fee.
