MassBay provides the following types of records on its website in a commonly available electronic format, except for those records that may be withheld in accordance with state or federal law:

Public records requests made to MassBay Community College are governed by Massachusetts Public Records Law, which provides that every person has a right to access publicly available information.
Guidelines for Requesting Public Records Information
To assist members of the public with making a request, we put together Guidelines for Requesting Public Records Information. Please read the document carefully before making a Public Records Request.
Requests for public records should be submitted in writing in order to ensure that the College accurately and completely responds to your request. A form is available on the MassBay website for your convenience.
A request for public records should include:
- Description of specific records being requested;
- Date parameters for the public records being requested;
- Name of person or organization requesting the public records; and
- The requesting person’s/organization’s contact information.

COMMBUYS is the official procurement record system for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Executive Departments. COMMBUYS offers free internet-based access to all public procurement information in order to promote transparency, increase competition, and achieve best value for Massachusetts taxpayers. CTHRU is the Office of the Comptroller’s new transparency site for state spending and payroll. It provides spending data going back to fiscal year 2010 and payroll data back to calendar year 2010 through present for most state agencies. Visit the CTHRU website
