Transfer Agreements
Students are often concerned about whether their MassBay credits will transfer to a 4-year institution. Transfer Agreements (commonly referred to as Articulation Agreements) help alleviate these concerns. If a Transfer Agreement is in place, it means that faculty at an outside institution has thoroughly evaluated an academic program from MassBay and approved it. Benefits of a transfer agreement commonly include guaranteed admission and/or successful transfer of credits from all college-level course work.
For students seeking to transfer MassBay credits, print the appropriate summary sheet and include it with your application to the school you're transferring to. If you are applying online, the summary sheet should be sent with any other necessary documentation such as personal essays, recommendations, and official transcripts.
