SGA Elections

Student Government Association elections at MassBay Community College are conducted through electronic ballot, overseen by the Legislation Committee as per the Constitution's requirements. Elections are scheduled to avoid conflicts with school holidays, mid-terms, or finals. Candidates must submit a completed elections packet and be in good standing with the College. There are two elections each academic year: the Fall Election and the Spring Election. Elected representatives assume office promptly after their election, taking responsibility for SGA affairs. Vacancies are filled through a re-opening of elections or a Senate appointment, ensuring continuity as outlined in the SGA Constitution.
