Club & Organization Communication

All clubs now have a Microsoft Teams platform created for virtual collaboration. As students join clubs, they are added to the respective Teams. Teams enables file sharing to keep everyone updated on club activities. We recommend enabling notifications for each club to stay informed about updates. Club leaders can create channels for different projects or subgroup discussions. Teams integrates with Microsoft applications like Forms for added customization.  Explore the Intro to Microsoft Teams and additional training videos for more guidance.

Meetings: Club leaders can schedule meetings directly through Teams, with all members able to join. Meetings sync with Outlook calendars for easy scheduling. Meeting times are also posted on the club website for students interested in attending.

Accessing Teams: Once added to a Team, access it anytime through your Microsoft account.

  • Download Teams for desktop, iOS, or Android.
  • Access online via your OneLogin Page; search for Teams and use the tile to manage all your Teams. Don't forget to enable notifications for each group.

Adminstrative Paperwork

The Club and Organization Handbook contains all rules, policies, and procedures. Members must familiarize themselves with this information for success.

Join a Current Club or Organization

All clubs must annually complete the MassBay Hazing Form with the current president's signature. If there is a new president, a new form must be completed.

All clubs must annually register with the Office of Student Engagement, Identity & Belonging and complete the Returning Club Registration Packet for continued recognition and access to resources.

Can't find the right fit?  Start your own club or organization at MassBay.  Get started now with step-by-step guidance.

Funding Forms

Clubs and organizations can fundraise to support trips and events.

Clubs and organizations can request funds from the Professional Development Fund, approved by SGA, five weeks before an event.

Clubs and organizations can request funds from the General Club Fund via a Club Funding Request Form, approved by SGA, three weeks before an event.

Room Reservation Forms

Planning in-person meetings or events on campus must submit a space request form at least 2 weeks in advance. Consider virtual or hybrid options for inclusivity.

We encourage clubs to make larger events, such as game nights or invited speakers, open to all students this semester to enhance recruitment. For virtual events or marketing support, fill out the form below.
