Food Resources at MassBay

students at free food market

Hunger should never be an obstacle to success. That's why MassBay’s Student Nourishment & Care Committee (SNACC) has partnered with the Greater Boston Food Bank, Food for Free, and Daniel’s Table to help support members of our community who do not have enough to eat.

MassBay Student Supplemental Support Food Application

As part of the continued efforts of MassBay’s SNACC (Student Nourishment & Care) Committee, we are pleased to offer new iteration of our food scholarship to help support our students who are experiencing food insecurity. Selected recipients will receive widely accepted grocery gift cards. Selection for this food scholarship will prioritize students who are food insecure and/or need additional financial assistance.

What is it?

Selected students will receive a widely accepted grocery gift card to enable them to purchase fresh produce, fruits, pantry items and dairy directly.

MassBay Meals (Wellesley) and Daniel's Table (Framingham)

This is a take-home frozen meal program on the Wellesley and Framingham campuses for all students who are experiencing food insecurity. These restaurant-quality, pre-made meals are home-cooked and oven or microwave ready. Both vegetarian and meat-based options are available.

Students who wish to enroll in the program are required to schedule a one-time 15-minute virtual or in-person meeting with either Marybeth Fletcher, MassBay's Resoruce Specialist or Jenny Cavallerano, MassBay's Food Coordinator.  During this meeting, the student's individual situation will be reviewed and the best options moving forward will be reviewed.
