MassBay Career Services is excited to offer you Handshake, a comprehensive online career site for MassBay students and alumni. Once your Handshake account is activated, you can use Handshake to:

 

  • Access and apply to full and part-time jobs and internship opportunities
  • Build a compelling online career profile and upload your resume to attract employees looking for candidates like you
  • View and sign up for useful career events and workshops

 

STUDENTS: To activate your Handshake account, log-in here: MassBay Handshake or through your OneLogin account accessed with your MassBay credentials (search for “Handshake”). When prompted to “Add Your School”, please select “Massachusetts Bay Community College”. You must use your MassBay email address to successfully complete activation of your account.

ALUMNI: To create an account, follow this link: Alumni MassBay Handshake and enter your email address (does not need to be a MassBay email). When prompted to "Add Your School", please select “Massachusetts Bay Community College”. If you are not using a MassBay email address, you must e-mail careerservices@massbay.edu with your name and either year of graduation or year(s) that you took classes at MassBay so that we can verify your alumni status.

FACULTY and STAFF, please log-in to Handshake by logging in as if you are a student: Current MassBay Handshake or through OneLogin (search for “Handshake”). When prompted to “Add Your School”, please select “Massachusetts Bay Community College”. You must use your MassBay email address to successfully complete activation of your account. Indeed is an American worldwide employment-related search engine.  

Idealist is a job, internship and volunteer search engine focused on non-profit and social services opportunities and organizations.  

Glassdoor is a website where employees and former employees anonymously review companies and their management. It also includes a job search engine.

MassBay Community College offers part-time job opportunities to our students that enhance their academic experience with practical learning in a supportive setting. Students gain valuable skills, have flexible working hours, and perform work that may relate to a future career.
