Arunima Sharma
Arunima Sharma works as a Security Consultant with Synopsys. She is the event coordinator for WiCyS MA. Prior to working in Cybersecurity, she spent over 4 years in Software Development, analyzing and understanding the building blocks of software. This foundational knowledge helps her bring a fresh and deeper perspective to the field of Cybersecurity. Besides WiCyS, she is an active RTC (Re-Writing the Code) and BSC (Boston Security Consultants) community member. She strongly believes in ‘Empowered women, empower women’ and is passionate to promote technical knowledge! WiCyS is an excellent platform for women to enhance their careers with a supporting and welcoming community.
Giana Dean
Giana Dean works in Security/Data Governance at Evercore Partners. She is the President of the WiCyS MA Affiliate since July 2022. She has a passion for learning, solving problems, and helping others. She has been working in Cybersecurity for 4 years and her path to get there was non-traditional. Aside from WiCyS, she is also a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New England. She knows she can achieve anything she sets her mind to and was able to build that confidence and courage through the resources and experiences that WiCyS has offered her.
Lodrina Cherne
Lodrina Cherne is a champion for protecting people online in the cybersecurity and digital forensics industries. Lodrina is a senior information technology and cybersecurity leader driving innovation and development of best practices related to cybersecurity standards and policy. She has spoken at Black Hat; RSA; Grace Hopper Celebration; National Cyber Crime Conference; and has been event chair and keynote speaker for the Digital Forensics and Incident Response Summit. Lodrina also is a teacher instructing Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement professionals in digital forensics investigation techniques and education. Cherne has earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Boston University and is an Aspen Tech Policy Hub Fellow and Tech Executive Leader.
Meghan Martinez
Meghan Martinez is the Director of Cyber Range Programs for CyberTrust Massachusetts, responsible for the successful adoption of advanced cyber range technology across CyberTrust member colleges and developing innovative programming that can meet the needs of cybersecurity students and corporate audiences. Meghan has over a decade of experience in the cybersecurity space; most recently, as a Digital Forensics and Incident Response Lead at MassMutual and a public policy digital equity fellow. Meghan is passionate about what she refers to as DEI-informed cybersecurity and summarizes most of her work under the category of ‘building bridges and breaking down barriers.’ She is an avid reader and obsessive dog photographer (mostly her own, but really anyone’s…with permission).
