Arthur Segawa

Arthur Segawa, a native of Uganda, is now an engineer at the MBTA, working on signals in Quincy. He was a technical engineer in the Reserves and served in the Middle East. He is a 2018 alumni of MassBay and transferred to Northeastern, where he earned a degree in environmental engineering, and worked with the Passive House Institute in Germany. Segawa plans to apply sustainabilty principles to the built environment. He praises the professors at MassBay and the fact that, at MassBay, one can work in real-world research team as an undergrad.

 

Northeastern University | Student Pathways Opening World Energy Resources (S-POWER) Program, is a scholarship and career mentor program funded by the National Science Foundation. Funding from this grant is used towards scholarships, mentors, career development, and research experience opportunities for students who have an interest in transferring to 4-year institutions and plan to create innovations in sustainable energy.
