WELLESLEY HILLS (November 20, 2012) – Long time Wellesley resident Thomas E. Peisch has been unanimously voted by his peers as Vice-Chair of the MassBay Community College Board of Trustees today.
“Tom Peisch is a dedicated public servant and a distinguished leader,” said Board Chair Pamela Richardson. “I am confident he will bring the wisdom and skill set to the position of Vice-Chair that will enable the Board to advance the aspirational goals of the College.”
Mr. Peisch has served on the MassBay Board of Trustees since his appointment by Governor Deval Patrick this past July. As Vice-Chair, he will chair the Board’s Finance, Personnel & Audit Committee. Board terms are five years.
“I am delighted that the Board has expressed confidence in me by electing me as Vice-Chair,” said Mr. Peisch. “The College has a bright future, and I look forward to being a part of it.”
Mr. Peisch has lived in Wellesley for 25 years and was an elected Town Meeting member from 1997-2011. He is a founder of and partner at Conn Kavanaugh Rosenthal Peisch & Ford, LLP, a Boston law firm. Mr. Peisch earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, later serving as President of the Dartmouth College Alumni Council. He earned his J.D. from Boston College. His spouse is former Wellesley School Committee Chair and current Massachusetts Representative Alice Hanlon Peisc
