Whether you need a little or a lot of financial support, we have programs that can you pay for your education:
Free College: If you've completed high school or its equivalent, lived in Massachusetts for at least one year, and don't hold a Bachelor's Degree, you are likely eligible for MassReconnect or MassEducate.
NEW! Fidelity Scholarship Program: Available for first-time students (16-24) seeking an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate that combines an annual need-based scholarship with wrap-around services in designated zip codes in Massachusetts.
Federal Financial Aid: If you are a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident seeking a degree in a qualifying program, you may be eligible for financial aid, which include federal grants (money you don't have to pay back!), work study (earn money while you learn), and low-interest federal leoans
MassBay Scholarships: The MassBay Foundation awards more than $200,000 in scholarships to students registered for classes. Scholarships can help pay for tuition, books, or materials to support your education.
Commonwealth Commitment: Commit to starting at a community college, then transferring to one of the state universities or a UMass campus, and reap the financial savings.
Tuition-Free Plan for Boston Residents: Offered in partnership with Boston Public Schools and the Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development, Boston high school graduates may qualify to attend MassBay tuition-free, provided you meet certain income eligibility requirements.
Community College Nursing Scholarship Program: Designed to attract, incentivize, and encourage a diverse population of students to enroll in and complete a postsecondary credential or degree in the nursing profession at a Massachusetts community college.
Veteran and Military Benefits: MassBay consistently ranks among the top colleges for veterans and active military. Take advantage of your GI Bill and other benefits to help pay for education.
