MassBay offers a wide-range of student-run campus clubs which provide opportunities to explore new social, cultural, educational and professional experiences.

African Student Association

The African Student Assocaition promotes unity and awareness among all students and celebrates the different African cultures.

ALPFA Chapter

The MassBay (Association of Latino Professionals for America) Student Chapter is a dynamic and inclusive student organization, dedicated to empowering future leaders in various industries.
Our chapter provides a supportive community where students can develop essential skills, network with industry professionals, and explore career opportunities. ALPFA offers scholarship opportunities, paid fellowship programs and more. APSS: Association of Pre-health Science Students

APSS intends to motivate, encourage, educate, and prepare Pre-Health students from diverse backgrounds to be competitive applicants for health professional schools. Through a sharing of knowledge, experience, skills, and mentorship that are both a prerequisite and concomitant to professional participation in health care fields—with a focus on medicine.

Biotechnology Innovations

The Biotechnology Innovations Club discusses recent innovations in Biotechnology, Gene Therapy, RNA therapeutics Genomics, Vaccine Development, and food production. The club encourages the synergistic growth and development of scientific curiosity, inquiry, and quest for discovery among MassBay Community College students through knowledge and involvement in research addressing real-world problems and discussion of recently published papers in translational biotechnology and life sciences research.

Cyber Security Club

The Cybersecurity Club provides an opportunity for students of all majors who have a vested interest in cybersecurity in all aspects of the field from its history to modern day trends. The club will focus both on educating members concerning different concepts of information and cybersecurity and application in hands-on group projects and collegiate cyber competitions.

Film Society

Film Club Society is where you can discover a world of diverse films, ranging from timeless classics to contemporary masterpieces. Games Club

The MassBay Games Club is dedicated to fostering a community at MassBay through games of all sorts. Our mission to ensure members of our club have fun and make friends through the games that we all enjoy or play. The club is representative of all kinds of students, whether you play Tabletop Games, Board Games, Video Games, Card Games, or just really like Rock Paper Scissors.

Nursing Students' Club

The Nursing Students Club facilitates and engages in acts of service in both the MBCC and local communities, allowing members to develop positive skills and attributes as they prepare to enter the nursing profession. In addition, the Nursing Students Club is a supportive network in which students can discuss the challenges of nursing school and resources available to them, aiding members to be successful in reaching their academic and professional nursing goals.

*The Nursing Students' Club is aimed towards students enrolled in an ADN or PN Program, and is based in Framingham Campus.*

Pride Alliance

The mission of the Pride Alliance is to provide LGBTQ+ members of the MassBay community a safe space to be themselves and provide awareness and education about the issues facing the LGBTQ+ community in the local area and in the world. Allies welcome too!

Open Minds

The mission for the club this semester is to create a supportive and understanding community where individuals can share their experiences and find solace in knowing they are not alone in their struggles. Members can advocate for improved mental health services and policies, raising awareness about the importance of mental health care in society. It can provide a space for peer support, allowing individuals to share coping strategies and advice with one another. It can organize events and campaigns to raise awareness about mental health issues, potentially reaching a wider audience and reducing stigma on a larger scale.

SABOR Club

SABOR (Students Advocating for Bold Opportunities & Representation) Club's mission is to foster a strong and inclusive community that represents and celebrates diverse cultures, particularly Latin and Caribbean experiences at our institution and in our communities.
Club SABOR, in collaboration with organizations such as ALPFA, will serve current MassBay students and alumni, by providing a safe and supportive environment to express themselves and access resources such as scholarships and job opportunities available to Latin and Caribbean identities.

STEM For All Club

The STEM For All Club is an all STEM-inclusive group with a purpose to prepare, assist, excite and engage STEM students beyond academics. This club will focus on civic engagement, personal development workshops, career and academic opportunities, team-building events, competitions and more! That being said, ALL students can take advantage of the opportunities we have to offer – that is what makes us STEM for ALL.

Unified Sports

Unified Sports aims to bring together students with and without disabilities to build an inclusive and fun environment. Unified Sports is registered as a club, but run through the Athletic Department.

Veterans Club

MassBay Student Veterans Association is non-partisan, inclusive student group for veterans, military, and their families. It is an official Chapter Member of the Student Veterans of America® (SVA) →. SVA’s vision and mission closely reflects that of MassBay Community College mission, vision, and values. We invite all Veterans and Military Students to become members of the Student Veterans Club, and continue the good will, and community support that the Student Veterans Association has been provided to the local community for years. The Wellness Club is a club dedicated to promoting health and well-being on the Mass Bay campus. We will plan a number of wellness events throughout the year, large-scale and small-scale. We will assist in offering a range of services including classes, meditation, yoga, workshops, and personalized wellness coaching.
