WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. (June 30, 2023) – MassBay Community College 6 Week II summer classes are set to begin on Monday, July 10, 2023 and registration is still open. The 6 Week II summer classes run Monday, July 10 through Friday, August 18, 2023, and are offered online and in-person. Summer courses provides the opportunity for area college students home on summer break and enrolled MassBay students to take courses in a short timeframe and help get ahead in their studies, earn college credits in a short timeframe, and get a step closer to graduation.
“Summer is a wonderful opportunity for students to take courses that satisfy general education requirements or pre-requisite courses for advanced coursework,” said MassBay Associate Dean of Admissions and Community Learning Alison McCarty. “Local college students who are home on summer break like to take advantage of the cost savings per class and easy credit transfer to their bachelor’s degree programs. Our flexible class options are delivered online and in-person, and students earn college credits in just six weeks of study.”
MassBay offers a robust course offering during the summer which includes; Financial Accounting, Chemistry, Intro to Criminology, Intro to Communication, Oral Communication, Critical Thinking, Microeconomics, English Composition, Environmental Studies, World Regional Geography, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, Medical Terminology, Principles of Business Law, Law and Society, American Literature, Intro to Statistics, Small Business Management, Contemporary Nutrition, Philosophy: Ethics, Human Growth and Development, Intro to Sociology, Drawing, Computers and Technology, Health Careers Exploration, U.S. History Since 1877, Quantitative Reasoning, Principles of Marketing, Intro to Psychology, and more.
