Welcome to MassBay!
Several things have changed for this semester.
There is a new building in Framingham.
Parking is still free in all locations, however, you need to get a parking sticker from MassBay police. Please bring your driver's license and proof that you are MassBay student, faculty, or staff. At present, there is no requirement to wear masks on campus or to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to be admitted to buildings. There are some exceptions to this for Health Sciences students. MassBay will send out notice if COVID-19 worsens and restricted access once again becomes necessary. Most MassBay classes can be accessed as online or remote, with the exception of labs for the sciences and health sciences, and the vehicle bays at the Automotive Technology program at the Ashland campus.
Check the Spring 2024 Academic Calendar to see when the first day is for each of your classes, and check the add/drop period carefully. You will be financially responsible in full for all classes and labs you do not officially drop during the add/drop period. Please file an Add/Drop form with the Registrar’s office. Visit the Advising office in person or online for a class schedule and for any changes you wish to make. You can visit school offices virtually online with any questions.
Make sure you have your admissions acceptance email printed out or on top level of your mobile phone — it has your MassBay email and password. You will need it to sign in to your MassBay Email and sign into BlackBoard for your classes. The links for all of the student, faculty and staff communication and collaboration tools are on the footer of each page of the website. You can get a reset of your password from IT Help in room 242 on the Wellesley Hills campus or at kiosks on the Framingham campus during the opening weeks of the new semester in the new building. However, there will likely be a long line and a long wait. Make it easier by having your MassBay password readily available and test signing in before your first class starts.
If you do not have one, you will need a OneCard. This is a free MassBay-issued photo ID for students, faculty, and staff. The OneCard gives holders access to services such as the library, prinitng, and the shuttle bus.
