The Office of Grants Development is responsible for identifying and supporting grant-funded activities which support the College’s mission and Strategic Plan. The Office of Grants Development encourages and supports faculty and staff to apply for grants that further new and existing institutional, divisional, departmental and programmatic goals which:
- support a learner-centered environment that encourages innovation, incorporates current technology, reflects best practices, and provides professional development for the College community
- establish rigorous curricula, relevant programs of study, and unified support services that promote retention, certificate/degree completion, transfer, and employment
- promote clear educational and career pathways for students through strengthened partnerships with business industry, community agencies, schools, and colleges and universities
The Office of Grants Development supports grant-related activities by conducting research and facilitating grant-related community, industry, and individual partnerships. The Office provides assistance and professional development for faculty and staff seeking funding, including identification of funding sources; proposal preparation and writing; contacting funding sources; submission of proposals, including electronic submission; assistance in preparing budgets; and preparation of interim and final reports.
