WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. (January 14, 2019) – MassBay Community College Automotive Technology program will be exhibiting at this year’s New England International Auto Show January 17 – 21, 2019 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Visitors of the Auto Show can stop by the MassBay Automotive Technology exhibit booth (411 and 413) where we will be displaying a brand new BMW X3 M40 and a model engine. Guests will be able to speak with current students, faculty, and staff from the Ashland Automotive Technology Center to learn more about our automotive cooperative education program, where students can earn a paycheck at a local dealership while earning their Associate Degree. In partnership with BMW, General Motors, Jeep/Chrysler, and Toyota/Lexus, MassBay Auto students study and work on state-of-the-art equipment and vehicles, while being taught by our ASE Master-certified faculty. The MassBay Automotive Technology program has a 99 percent job placement rate upon graduation.
“We are looking forward to exhibiting our Automotive Technology programs,” said MassBay Director of Admissions, Alison McCarty. “Thanks to Tulley Automotive of Nashua, one of our cooperative education locations, our exhibit will have the only BMW on display during the Auto Show. Our students and staff are eager to meet prospective Automotive Technology students, and we are also showcasing our Cyber Security, Health Sciences and Business programs.”
The New England International Auto Show is the region’s largest new vehicle automobile show, as well as one of the nation’s oldest and longest-running automotive industry shows. The event is presented by the Massachusetts State Automobile Dealers Association and produced by the Paragon Group.
