WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. (May 10, 2021) — Jonathan Krushell of Needham, MA, has been selected to sing the national anthem at the MassBay Community College 59th Commencement ceremony, being held virtually on Thursday, May 27, 2021.
“Music has been the most important part of my life ever since I was a little kid, and I’m so honored to be given the opportunity to share my love of music with the community,” said Krushell. “I am so proud of the Class of 2021, and I know each and every one of the students at MassBay is capable of amazing things.”
Krushell, a liberal arts student, began singing at a young age and as a Needham High School student, he participated in an a cappella group and performed in musicals during the summer months. Krushell enjoys writing music and is currently writing songs preparing to put together an album.
Krushell was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and he is scheduled to graduate from MassBay in Fall 2022.
